It oversees the project\u2019s timeline, budget, and team collaborations, and ensures that stakeholders\u2014including healthcare professionals, patients, and policymakers\u2014are actively engaged. WP5 leads a comprehensive public communication campaign to raise awareness about dementia, reduce stigma, and encourage the adoption of project innovations. It also establishes the Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP), which includes caregivers and people affected by dementia to ensure their voices influence the project\u2019s direction.<\/p>\n<p>WP5 plays a crucial role in ensuring that the project\u2019s research leads to real-world impact, shaping policy and healthcare practices in Peru and potentially throughout Latin America.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Progress<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our efforts in stakeholder engagement have resulted in fruitful partnerships with local communities, healthcare providers, and government entities, particularly with the Peruvian Ministry of Health (MINSA), which has endorsed our work. Most notably, we executed a successful week-long event for team members and stakeholders in Peru in June. At the same time, we shared a communications strategy for the project which will help us to expand our reach, inform broader audiences about our project and its findings, and to support dissemination and advocacy efforts linked to dementia care in Peru.<\/p>\n<p>Across all Work Packages, partnerships and networking have been generated with stakeholders such as the Regional Health Directorate (DIRESA) and the Mental Health Directorate (DSAME), along with outreach to other institutions like the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion.
